Omar Maynez

Omar Maynez has been licensed by the Texas Supreme Court since May of 2004. He has practiced both as a solo practitioner, as well as with other local firms, in the areas of bankruptcy law, family law, criminal defense, immigration law, and civil litigation. Mr. Maynez is a member of the Texas Bar Association, the El Paso Bar Association, and the El Paso Family Bar Association. Omar Maynez is a veteran of the United States Army were he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant and was in active duty for over five years, receiving the National Service Ribbon for honorable service during the first Gulf War. After leaving the military, Omar Maynez, went on to earn a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and then a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. Omar Maynez was born in Delicias, Mexico, and was raised and lived in the El Paso Juarez border area from the age of one until joining the military in 1988.

Matt Watson is a shareholder with Watson & Maynez, P.C. He practices in the areas of probate and estate planning as well as consumer bankruptcy and family law, all as they affect today's aging population. Matt Watson is an active member of the Texas Bar Association, Texas Bar Association Real Estate, Probate, & Trust Section, Texas Bar Association Family Law Section, Texas Bar Bankruptcy Section, Texas Young Lawyer's Association, El Paso Young Lawyers Association, El Paso Bar Association, Border Bankruptcy Bar, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Law Attorneys, and El Paso Probate Bar Association.

Matt Watson was born in 1975 in Lafayette, Louisiana. He received his bachelors degree from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas in 1998 and his law degree from the UH Law Center in Houston, Texas in 2002. Matt Watson is a recent transplant to El Paso and has happily resided here since 2002. Matt enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as mountain biking and jogging during his free time.
